## 1. Fastfetch CLI Software: Zero-Telemetry Guarantee

When you install and execute the `fastfetch` command-line utility:
- **No Data Collection:** Fastfetch queries local kernel interfaces (sysfs, procfs, sysctl, IOKit, Win32 registry, WMI) strictly in local memory. None of your hardware specifications, usernames, hostnames, IP addresses, or disk serial numbers are ever saved to external media or sent over the network.
- **No Analytics / No Telemetry:** The binary contains zero tracking libraries, zero crash report uploaders, zero telemetry beacons, and zero automatic update checks.
- **Offline By Default:** Fastfetch executes 100% offline without requiring internet access. Network-dependent modules (e.g. `publicip`, `weather`) are disabled by default and only query external APIs if explicitly enabled in your configuration file.

- **Zero Tracking Cookies:** We do not set commercial cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site fingerprinting beacons.
- **Zero Third-Party Advertising:** No commercial ad networks operate on this site.
- **Edge Caching & Security Logs:** Standard HTTP access logs (IP, user agent, requested path, timestamp) may be temporarily processed by edge CDNs strictly for DDoS protection and cache delivery.
- **Local Storage:** Client preferences (such as your active tab selection in the config generator) reside exclusively inside your browser's local storage and are never transmitted to our servers.

`https://fastfetch.dev` publishes public machine-readable indexes (`llms.txt`, `AGENTS.md`, and `sitemap.xml`) and supports HTTP content negotiation per `acceptmarkdown.com` (serving `text/markdown` via `Vary: Accept` headers).
